The Townhouse Hotel is a modern hotel situated in the centre of Cape Town. There are shops and malls within 500 metres and the Castle of Good Hope and Greenmarket Square are about one kilometre away. The 104 air conditioned guestrooms are spread over 12 floors and feature neutral contemporary d�cor. All have direct dial phones, cable televisions, safes and trouser presses. Coffee and tea making facilities are also provided, along with home made biscuits.
Guests can dine in the restaurant, offering a range of South African and international cuisine and Cape wines with set and � la carte menu options available. Active guests can work out in the fitness room or swim a few lengths of the heated indoor swimming pool. The bar provides the perfect place to unwind with a drink after a day's business or sightseeing and guests can enjoy a snack at an hour thanks to round the clock room service. Babysitting services are available and there is a same day laundry and valet service. Modern conference facilities can cater for business meetings and private functions of up to 150 people. Garage parking is available for a fee. Guests are within walking distance of shops and museums and the hotel operates a free shuttle bus four times a day to and from the V&A Waterfront via the International Convention Centre. The hotel is approximately 20 kilometres (12.5 miles) or a 20 minute drive from Cape Town International Airport.

The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the airport for a cost of R180 (one way). Taxis are available at the airport.
From Cape Town International Airport take the N2 to Cape Town. After 14 kilometres keep left for 'De Waal Drive/City via M3'. After 3.5 kilometres take the 'City via Roeland Street' turn off. At the fourth set of traffic lights (a T junction) turn right onto Plein Street. Turn right onto Barrack Street, and left onto Corporation Street on which the hotel is located.
